Nicky Grist Stages 2023

An event that never fails to deliver! The 2023 Nicky Grist Stages once again proved to be a fantastic event with a very strong BTRDA entry headed by Matt Hirst & Declan Dear in their Fiesta R5. The Builth Wells based event used some of (at least in our opinion!), the best stages the UK has to offer in the forests surrounding the Epynt Military Ranges. We spent most of the day in the stunning Gwibedog stage (also known as Monument), which is very close to the tank firing range and it was quite a bizarre experience listening to the tanks and heavy artillery firing a few miles away whilst shooting rally cars.

Congratulations to Elliott Payne and Tom Woodburn on taking the overall win in their Fiesta Rally2 after a very close battle with Matt and Declan, and Jason Pritchard and Phil Clarke taking the 2WD honours in their immaculate Ford Escort RS1800.
