The autumnal forests of North Wales played host to the Cambrian Rally, the final round of the BRC and BTRDA championships. Sadly, both championships had been wrapped up on the previous rounds so the entry wasn’t as impressive as previous years…although former BRC regular Tom Cave was a welcome entry in a Melvyn Evans Motorsport prepared VW Polo GTI R5, and went on to secure a comfortable victory even after a couple of years out, winning five of the six stages.
