Riponian Rally 2023

Our first event of 2023 saw us take a long drive to the epic forests of North Yorkshire for the Riponian Rally, the opening round of the British Historic Rally Championship.

After a successful visit in 2022, we once again decided to spend the day in Gale Rigg. A few hours spent studying the route DVD identified a couple of likely spots, so we headed into the stage early to scope it out. Thankfully the weather was much more benign this year - freezing temperatures, snow, and high winds greeted us in 2022 - so that was bonus!
