RallyNuts Stages 2023

During an incredibly difficult few days for the rallying community, we ventured into the classic mid Wales forests for the 2023 RallyNuts Stages on Saturday 15th April. For the second year in a row, we settled on two runs of the awesome Myherin stage, often cited by WRC drivers as being one of the best stages in the world and it’s easy to see why when you walk the stage!

The first corner we shot turned out to be an incredible tricky one…a tightening right hander with two large rocks on the inside, straight into a long hairpin left. Several of the first crews on the road had huge moments, and it wasn’t long before one went off the road - Ian Bainbridge in car 4 was the first, quickly followed by Joe Price in his distinctive orange Escort Mk2. Thankfully all were ok following the crashes, but neither crew could continue due to the damage sustained and were forced to retire from the event.
