Plains Rally 2023
We headed to the beautiful mountains of North Wales last weekend for the Plains Rally, a round of the British Historic Rally Championship and the Welsh Rally Championship. A fantastic entry and warm, dry weather made for a superb day out in Aberhirnant, despite the first run of the stage being cancelled with the top 30 cars still to come through due to a series of accidents in the stage. At one point, three cars were in the same ditch!
Nevertheless, the dusty conditions made for some fantastic opportunities for rally photography, even if its tough on the equipment (and our lungs…).
